No Heat

The show features two light-based installations. One is set in a small, enclosed room, where LED light beams pulse through haze, translating a conversation into Morse code. Suspended sculptures hang in the space, responding to the rhythm of the light.

The second installation is located in a tower structure, shaped like an airport ramp. Here, a monologue is transmitted through light signals, unfolding in a more solitary tone.

In both works, language gives way to light and space — what’s said becomes something felt.

Shuang Li (b. 1990, Wuyi Mountains, China) creates performance, interactive websites, sculpture, and moving image installations that explore the digital landscape shaped by global communication systems and uneven information flows. Her work focuses on the

interplay between media and users, examining how technology fosters intimacy while also functioning as a tool of neoliberal control over the body and desire.
