The rooms of Number 1 Main Road hold only remains: ruptures, unfamiliar bodies, and the
unsettling sense that something crossed over. Above, in the darkness, the world appears inverted:
The tower holds another kind of aftermath. Gravity appears to have slipped, and forms remain
suspended, as though abandoned in the wake of an event no one witnessed.
A new short story by Katharine Tyndall, written in response to Ramirez’s works, provides a
narrative to the exhibition; A soundscape by musician Aeva plays throughout the show.
Snacktime: Zero Respect For Privacy is the aftermath of a ritual with unintended consequences.
